Punk…
We went to see Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty last night and I spent the majority of the performance completely fixated on Count Lilac’s jacket/costume/mainly the jacket even in the scenes that he wasn’t wearing it. We didn’t know his name/role to start with, so he affectionately became known as The King Formally Known As Embroidery because I mean c’mon, that gold filigree with that blue satin what more could you honestly want.
(It’s also an absolutely fantastic show regardless, as all of his are)
